Takkyu Selective

Art Direction • Editorial • Merchandise

Art direction and graphic design for a collaborative 7-inch vinyl release by Takkyu Selective and Carlos Dias.

Working with existing illustrations, handwritten lettering and lyrics, I created the artwork for the record sleeve and labels, along with a two-color screen-printed poster.

The artwork was also used on merchandise, including embroidered caps, bringing the same illustrations into different materials and printing technique.

The idea came from a weekly soccer field reservation in Lake Nona, Orlando, known as “Ladies' Night.” I liked the name and decided to use it for the team's identity. The initials LN also worked as a reference to Lake Nona.

For the home jersey, I chose black to reflect the nighttime theme and give the team a more elegant look. The away jersey uses blue and turquoise for contrast, while keeping the same visual identity.

I designed the crest, both uniforms and the small details, including the LN tag. I also found the manufacturer and worked with them through productio.

Punknet

Web Design • Visual Direction • Digital publishing

Punknet started as an independent Brazilian music website covering punk rock, hardcore and alternative music. What began as a small project grew into an online publication featuring music news, interviews, concert coverage and a community of readers in Brazil and abroad.

Over the years, I worked on its visual direction and redesigned the website several times, adapting the layout and presentation of content as the web changed.

According to our press kit, Punknet reached around 5,000 daily visits, established a content partnership with iG, one of Brazil's major internet portals, and won the 2002 Dynamite Award for Best Website or Online Column.
